Faux Flower Care Guide

Our faux flowers, trees and greenery are made to stay beautiful for years. A little care now and then keeps them looking freshly picked.

Unboxing & Shaping

  • Stems and leaves may be gently folded for shipping. Remove all packaging, then bend each stem, petal and leaf into a natural position.
  • For extra volume, hold a hair dryer on a low, cool setting about 12 inches away to help petals relax back into shape.
  • Most stems contain a flexible wire, so you can bend them to fit your vase and create the shape you love.

Styling Tips

  • Choose a vase roughly one-third to one-half the height of your arrangement for balanced proportions.
  • Group stems in odd numbers (3, 5 or 7) for a more natural, garden-picked look.
  • Mix textures by pairing soft blooms like peonies or hydrangeas with greenery such as eucalyptus or ruscus.
  • For a “real water” look in clear vases, use a clear acrylic water solution designed for faux florals.

Cleaning

  • Weekly: Dust lightly with a soft, dry paintbrush or microfiber cloth, or use a hair dryer on the cool setting.
  • Monthly: Wipe leaves with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking stems, as moisture can affect the inner wire.
  • Never use harsh chemicals, bleach or alcohol-based cleaners, as they can fade colors.

Placement

  • Keep arrangements out of strong, direct sunlight to prevent fading over time.
  • Keep faux flowers away from candles, fireplaces, heaters and open flames.
  • Items labeled Indoor or Outdoor are suitable for covered outdoor spaces such as porches and patios. Bring them inside during harsh weather to extend their life.

Caring for Vases & Decor

  • Our ceramic, stone-finish and iron pieces are hand finished, so small variations in texture and tone make each piece unique.
  • Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads.
  • Decorative vases are designed for faux stems and may not be watertight; use a glass liner if you plan to add fresh flowers or water.

Storage

Storing seasonal arrangements? Wrap stems loosely in tissue paper and store them upright or flat in a box, in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
